This paper presents a study on addressing the performance degradation issues associated with Networked Control Systems (NCS) by proposing a gain scheduling Proportional-Integral-Differential (GS-PID) controller design. NCS offers numerous advantages, including remote control, cost-effectiveness, and enhanced flexibility. However, it also introduces challenges such as network-induced time delays and packet loss, which can lead to performance degradation and system instability in nonlinear systems. To overcome these drawbacks, the GS-PID controller is proposed, which dynamically adjusts its parameters based on the network conditions. The True Time toolbox simulator in MATLAB is employed for NCS simulation and network comparison.
