Dr. Sanghamitra Kundu is currently working as Controller of Examinations (Acting) at JIS University, Agarpara. She earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (with a specialization in Environmental Engineering) in 2008 from IIT Kharagpur and has extensive experience in teaching and administration, as well as a brief stint in industry. She has worked in various capacities in academia – as a faculty, as a researcher, as HoD of Civil Engg. Department, and as Director IQAC. Her research interests involve water and wastewater management, Solid waste management, sustainable approaches in waste management, etc.
She joined the JIS University examination department in February 2024. She has been actively involved in streamlining the examination processes through drafting/upgradation of rules and regulations, implementing them, and documenting them.
